Course Description
This course is an ideal follow on from our Introduction to Bushcraft but also works as a standalone course and introduces many of the less natural forms of bushcraft.
On this course we will look at the following skills;
- Learn how to quickly make a shelter from a tarp along with several quick and useful knots, hitches and lashings.
- Look at different ways to set up a hammock.
- Learn how to read the landscape to aid direction finding and how to use the sun and stars.
- Make several different tinders which can be carried and used when more natural tinders are not available.
- Look at different ignition methods for fire lighting and the best way to make a fire with them.
